A recent gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence Madrid and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
